Plagiarism detection
Botanical Sciences uses specialized software to detect plagiarism. The received texts are checked before being sent for an academic opinion, and they will be rejected if the percentage of similarity with a published text is higher than 15% without citing. The Editorial Committee, integrated by the Editor-in-Chief and the Associate Editor, will inform all the authors if a problem with plagiarism exists.
Botanical Sciences adheres to the code of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in order to achieve the highest standards in the ethics of publications and to solve the problems derived from any publication (https://publicationethics.org/).
