A new species of Tauschia (Umbelliferae) from the State of Mexico

Abstract

Tauschnia neglecta sp. nov. is described and illustrated on the basis of specimens collected in the State of México. Its chromosome number was determinated as n = 22. T. neglecta seerns to be related to T. filiformis (Coult. & Rose) Coult. & Rose known from Oaxaca and with T. seatonni (Coult. & Rose) Coult. & Rose known from Orizaba.
